Sunday Morning Fellowship
We invite everyone to our fellowship time following our Sunday morning Worship Service. Volunteers serve treats while staff and lay ministers are available to answer questions.

Living Out Loud
Better known as “LOL”, this is our weekly Wednesday night “happening” which includes an evening meal, music rehearsals, children’s programming, childcare and educational opportunities for the adults. Once a month we also hold a mid-week worship service following our meal.

The menu for our LOL meal is set by our chef approximately a week prior to the event. Families are invited to RSVP for the LOL meal on the yellow Activity Sign-up Sheet in the Sunday Bulletin on Sunday mornings or call the office by Tuesday afternoon. RSVPs allows the staff to better plan and prepare for the meal.
Fellowship Groups
The GAP
The GAP is a social and service group generally comprised of the "baby boomer" generation age group that usually meets the first Saturday of the month, year round. Events can include dinners, game night, theater, a day trip to Northfield, or hiking and picnicing along the St. Croix in the fall. The GAP is also involved in 2 - 3 service projects per year.
The Connection
This group is made up of 30 - 49 year olds and is open to anyone, with or without kids, with or without partners, who is looking for a forum of contact, familiarity, relationship building, and spiritual growth. A mix of activities throughout the year may include children as well as activities just for adults.
The BLBs
The BLBs, also known as the Breakfast Lunch Bunch, meet monthly for breakfast or lunch to enjoy fellowship.
Bridge Players
Bridge players meet monthly on Thursday afternoons in Fireside Room.
Support Groups
Moms ‘n Touch
Moms 'n Touch is a group of moms of school, college and career aged children who believe that prayer is the most important gift a mom can give her child. This group meets weekly on Wednesday afternoons at AHUMC during the school year. For more information contact the office or check out the Moms ‘n Touch website at www. Momsintouch.org
Diabetes Support Group
This support group meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month February through April and August through November at AHUMC. Participants are encouraged to share their personal experiences in living with diabetes. Guest speakers are occasionally invited to bring new information on medical advancements and tips for everyday living. Contact the office for more information. You need not be a member of AHUMC to join this group.
Social & Recreational Offerings
Winter Volleyball League
Team sports at Arlington Hills are fun and non-competitive. People of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate and enjoy the fun, social atmosphere as well as a chance to squeeze in a little exercise. Spectators are always welcome too. The volleyball teams begin play in January and go through March or April, playing on Friday evenings.
Intergenerational Ski Weekend at Camp DuNord
The annual DuNord winter ski trip is a popular event that spans all age groups. Singles, couples and families all gather at the beautiful north woods DuNord facility for a weekend of cross-country skiing, hiking, relaxing by the fire, sharing meals, fellowship and enriching friendship.
Intergenerational Canadian Fishing Camp
Sponsored by the Minnesota Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, Pastor Chip serves as spiritual leader for this outing each year. He takes a group of United Methodists from Arlington Hills and other churches to Ontario for a week of fishing and spiritual refreshment.
